Sandeåsen Holiday Center had a challenge. They constantly experienced that tourists passing by would use their facilities such as showers and toilets without paying or staying at Sandeåsen. This led to increasing electricity costs for use of hot water and more frequent cleaning. The new managers of the campsite, Robin and Fride, were looking for a solution to solve this challenge and still keep it simple for guests to access the facilities.
Invite Guest Technology suggested that they should install digital locks on the common doors and automate access with Invite. This way, all guests receive an SMS with access information to the door when they book a stay at the camp.
Great in low season where the reception is not always staffed
Robin and Fride receive a lot of good feedback from their guests. The shower and laundry room get a lot of praise. “The fact that guests can check in and get a PIN code without having to go through Reception is great in the low season when the reception is not always staffed.” say Robin and Fride.
