Reduced risk and staff cost
NHG took over operations at Yttervik in May 2021 and while the previous owners lived at the campsite and could handle keys themselves, Rune needed a system that arranged this without having a person permanently resident at the campsite in case guests arrived. It was equally important to ensure a good guest experience, it had to be simple and preferably make guests independent of opening hours.
We looked at several different solutions, but the one that stood out and which also had a close collaboration with VisBook was Invite. We received good feedback from existing customers, and so it ended up being an easy choice for us.
With Invite, we have achieved what we wanted – to be open all year round without increasing staff. This way, we are less vulnerable than if we were dependant on on site personnel, and of course we have a completely different staff cost than we would have if we were staffed 24/7. It is important to point out that we do have staff during the high season.
