Why invest in new technology?
Previously, one of the biggest operational challenges was the lack of a night porter and the closing of reception in the evenings. With physical keys and manual services, issues often arose when guests lost their keys or forgot to return them. This led to unnecessary use of resources in the evening, as guests frequently arrived after closing time, resulting in a lot of back-and-forth driving to resolve the situations. In addition, the key system they had was becoming outdated. That was when they began looking around for better solutions.
Førde Camping og Gjestehus has been using new technology with Invite since the spring.
“We have great success with codes and the InStay Guest Portal instead of keys. The guest’s access is active for the duration of the booking, and when the booking period ends it is deactivated. This way we avoid losing physical items such as keys and key cards.” – Says Bjørn Inge.

Easy for guests
Invite and our booking system EasyNetBooking are connected so that everything runs automatically, from the generation of access to the delivery of this to the guest. The feedback from our guests has been consistently positive. They gain access either on their mobile via the web-based InStay Guest Portal or by using the codes sent to them — no apps to download or keys to pick up.
