Namsos Camping is beautifully situated in Trøndelag and offers accommodation for cabin guests, motorhomes, and tent campers. With a busy summer season from June to August and an international audience – particularly from Germany and the Netherlands – a smooth and reliable operation is essential.

A need for an upgrade
In connection with a new service building in the winter of 2024, Namsos Camping wanted to modernize access control and make the guest experience more self-service.

Seamless digital guest experience
Invite is now in use for guests booking motorhome pitches with electricity. Through the guest portal, they have access to all necessary information and can manage their stay completely independently – without needing to visit reception.
– It has only been in operation for a month and a half, but we can see that it works. It runs automatically and frees up time for us. The more guests who use the system, the more efficient our everyday operations become.
Positive feedback from guests
The reactions have been very positive – especially from those who appreciate a self-service solution.
– Guests are extremely satisfied and find it smooth and easy. We have also added a lot of information in the portal about the site, rules, and the local area, including links to outdoor activities and resources.
Future-oriented solution
With an access system based on Salto and Invite, Namsos Camping has laid the foundation for further development. – What was decisive for us was that the system is modular and can be expanded. As we upgrade more cabins, we will be using Invite even more.
