It was Anders at Visit Group who connected Karan from Explore the North and Mikael from Invite. From the very first conversation, it was clear that strong synergies existed — Explore the North was looking for solutions for digital keys and smart heating control, and that is exactly the kind of challenge Invite is built to solve.

A Cautious Start — with Great Potential
The collaboration began at Kaamos Lodge, one of Explore the North’s eight properties. Invite developed a tailored guest app with mobile keys and access codes. The solution worked — and they continued to build on it with activity booking, food and beverage ordering directly in the app, and self check-in to further simplify the guest journey.
From One Lodge to Eight
Today, Explore the North is rolling out Invite across all eight lodges — with three properties in the first phase during 2026. What started small is now a full-scale investment.
