Chose Invite to solve challenges with non-resident guests
Sandeåsen Feriesenter had a challenge. They repeatedly experienced people passing through who would stop by to use the shared facilities such as showers and toilets without being guests at the campsite. This resulted in more frequent cleaning and greater use of hot water, which increased electricity costs.
At the same time, it was important to keep the facilities open for the campsite’s actual guests. The new managers of the campsite, Robin and Fride, thought about how this challenge could be solved and contacted Invite Guest Technology for help.
Why did you choose to start using Invite?
Invite Guest Technology suggested to Sandeåsen that they should install digital locks on the doors to the shared facilities and use the Invite software. This means that all motorhome guests, and other guests who need access, can book and pay online and then receive an SMS with a code, so that they can easily let themselves in even when the doors are locked.
Great during low season when the reception is not always staffed.
Robin and Fride report many positive reviews from their guests. The two managers have now been using the solution for half a season and gained a great deal of valuable experience, both in terms of what works and which routines need to be adjusted. “We are looking positively at the 2023 season and beyond. There are new exciting things coming every year.”
