Invite has delivered on every possible level
Beverøya Camping had already taken several digital steps before discovering Invite – but it was only with digital guest communication and code locks that the pieces truly fell into place

Getting started
It started with an inquiry about energy management, but when Beverøya Camping began looking at the full picture of what Invite could offer — guest communication, digital check-in, and a digital lock on the front door — the choice was easy.
«We had some issues with the cabin front doors and key cards, but it was really the Invite InStay solution that turned out to be a very good fit for us»
Better communication from the first step
Communication with guests was a known pain point. Arrival messages weren’t working optimally with the previous system, and the flow of information was unclear.
«The arrival messages have improved significantly. Guests receive a clear and welcoming experience — a portal we believe guests truly appreciate. The right amount of information, without it becoming overwhelming»

Digital locks — exciting, but somewhat uncharted territory
The transition to code locks was what they were most curious about. Would it work for all guests — including the older generation?
“We had never tried codes for cabins before, so it was very exciting to see if it would work for everyone,’ says Silje. ‘Actually — no issues at all. Everyone is very happy”
And looking ahead, it becomes very seamless when the code can be sent to everyone in the family and there’s no need to gather around a single key. Everyone can come and go as they please.
NPS as a motivational tool
The ability to continue NPS measurement was important to Silje Kaasa Solberg when Beverøya Camping chose Invite. The NPS survey is sent to guests at check-out and sits in an easily accessible dashboard, making it simple to keep track. Today they use it actively — not just to monitor the guest experience, but internally as well.
“We use NPS to keep track of how we are perceived by our guests, but also to show that our employees are doing a truly fantastic job, and to motivate them. The response rate on the surveys is 65% — that is very, very good so far. We would of course like even more guests to respond so that we get a more accurate NPS score based on the visitors who come to us”.
Early adopters — and committed to staying ahead
Beverøya Camping has long been an early adopter of digital solutions, including specific pitch booking via a digital site map. Invite fits perfectly into their continued digital journey.
The next step is to introduce more code locks, and Silje is looking forward to expanding with additional locks and testing energy management — an area she strongly believes in.
«We are very happy. This has been a great upgrade that works better for what we need. Invite has delivered on every possible level»
